PIXIE is a new-generation HPA engine by SCALAR Airsoft. The goal is simple: mass-produced HPA engines.
 
PIXIE is a double solenoid drop in HPA engine kit. It replaces internal parts inside the gearbox shell of AEG replicas, with Tokyo Marui standard shell dimensions.
It uses parts from our previous engines, SERAPH and SPECTRE.
PIXIE uses the same direct-acting valve as SPECTRE Mk3 to deliver air to the barrel,
Put your favorite AEG nozzle on your PIXIE engine to get better compatibility and performances,
You can get up to 90% of the performances from a Polarstar F2 without breaking the bank!

IMPORTANT: ABOUT ELECTTRONICS
Offset PIXIE is not supplied with any switch. You need to buy and solder your own switches!!!
Offset PIXIE is provided with an universal plugboard by default.
 
For P90, if you are not able to solder and assemble your own switches, you can buy our switch set here.
 
ABOUT OPTIONS
OPTION #1: Wire harness length:
20cm: for Cyma P90,
40cm: for Cyma SVD.
 
OPTION #2: FCU connector:
Please select the same connector as your battery.
 
OPTION #3: Semi-only:
Need a semi-only version due to your state laws or your field restrictions? Please select 'Yes' under the semi-only option. Your PIXIE's FCU will be identical but you will not be able to choose any other firing mode than 'SEMI' on the programming display. Please note that this option is not reversible!
 
OPTION #5: Energy output:
The "standard" version of PIXIE can be used with a 7.4V battery up to 120psi. 
If you plan to achieve more than 2 Joules and/or use a short barrel with your PIXIE engine (less than 200mm) we recommend you to get the "High flow" version of the engine. IMPORTANT: please note that you would need to use a 11.1V LiPo battery to get the best performances with your engine.
 
WHAT'S INCLUDED
1x PIXIE HPA engine,
1x PIXIE FCU (5-pins),
1x Trigger board / Universal Plugboard (5-pins),
1x Wire harness (5-pins),
1x Connector/adapter for FCU (please choose your connector in the options),
1x M5 air fitting + 30cm of nylon tubing 6x1mm,
1x SCALAR patch and sticker.
 
 
WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED
You need to get a QD coupling (EU or US), to fit the 6mm air line of your engine,
You need a 7.4V (2S) or 11.1V (3S) lipo battery with the same connector as the option you chose for your FCU,
You need an AEG nozzle to complete your engine. PIXIE s shipped without any AEG nozzle!
 
 
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Offset version of PIXIE is designed to fit in V3 (SVD) and V6 (P90) Tokyo Marui gearbox shells (standard shells).
Engine comes with either a Dean connector, a RCY (JST) connector or a XT-30 connector for better performances (to use with batteries made for drones).
By default, engine works with AEG 7.4V (2S) lipo battery. You can also use 11.1V (3S) battery to increase the maximum pression of the engine and make the engine faster to cycle.
 
 
FCU CHARACTERISTICS 
FCU for PIXIE (5-pins) is roughly the same size as a Polarstar FCU Rev 3.0. It is packed with the following functionalities:
Profile: have two uppers for your AR? Change from profile 1 to profile 2 to save different settings according to your upper,
Rate of fire: achieve up to 25RPS without any tweaking,
Selector 1 and 2: choose the firing mode of the selector position: Semi, Full, Burst 2/3/4/5 or Binary,
Dwell times: all settings to tune your engine: poppet dwell, nozzle dwell, BB dwell, anti-stiction,
FCU comes with the connector you choose when making your order,
FCU works with either a 7,4V (2S) lipo battery or a 11.1V (3S) battery.
