SPECTRE HPA electropneumatic engine
PIXIE is an affordable, double solenoid electropneumatic HPA engine made for the airsoft world.
Using the same head system (SRC) as SPECTRE Mk3, you can use any AEG nozzle with your PIXIE engine.
It increases nozzle's stability, creates a smoother movement, and enhances compatibility with different buckings and hopup units.
The nozzle is actuated by an industrial solenoid similar to the SERAPH solenoids.
The poppet is replaced by a direct-acting solenoid valve, sharing the same parts as our electromagnetic HPA engine, SPECTRE.
Replacing the poppet by a direct-acting valve reduces costs and enhance reliability of the engine.
PERFORMANCES AND TECHNICAL DATA
Battery: 7,4V (2S) or 11,1V (3S) LiPo battery
Operating pressure @7.4V: 4-8 bars (60-120psi)
Operating pressure @11.1V: 4-10 bars (60-145psi)
Rate of fire: 30 RPS with most replicas, plug-ang-play
Up to 40RPS (with 11.1V battery and some tweaking, requires technical skills)
Firing mode: Semi, Full, Burst 2/3/4/5, Binary
Energy output (with 0.20g BBs):
Typically 1.0J at 90psi with 250mm 6.03 barrel / 1.20J at 90psi with 365mm 6.05 barrel
Air Efficiency: around 3,000shots @1,0J with a 0.8L 200bars tank (48ci 3000psi)
Test setup: 0.28g BB - 285mm 6.03 barrel - Maxx Model Hopup Unit (set to zero) - Maple Leaf Macaron 70
Electric Efficiency: up to 8,000 shots with an 250mAh 30C 7,4V battery
Typical poppet dwell time: 3-10 milliseconds
Typical nozzle dwell time: 12-25 milliseconds

PROGRAMMING
Programming made easier thanks to a 128x32 OLED external display with two buttons.
CHIMERA MADE FROM SPECTRE AND SERAPH
Low maintenance: only the nozzle requires lubrication.
Only three dynamic O-rings are used in PIXIE. They are all located on the nozzle.
Unscrew the cylinder head, grease the nozzle or replace the O-rings, and the engine is ready for the next 10,000 shots.
EXTREME MODULARITY
Uses AEG nozzles, no proprietary nozzles. You can put PIXIE in every airsoft replica with a "straight nozzle".
For airsoft replicas with an offset nozzle, we already offer offset head for Cyma SVD and P90 gearboxes.
